Metal Recycling Services

Metal recycling made simple

Panda Rosa Metals processes both ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals at our Aberdeen facilities. Materials delivered to our yards are sorted, graded and prepared for recycling before being shipped for reuse in manufacturing and heavy industry.

How it works

Recycling Your Scrap in 4 Simple Steps

Arrival & Weighing

Vehicles enter the site via the weighbridge where loads are recorded and assessed before being directed to the correct unloading area.

Sorting & Grading

Once unloaded, materials are manually and mechanically sorted into specific recycling grades. Non-ferrous metals are handled in dedicated bays while ferrous materials are directed towards the processing area.

Processing

Heavy machinery including Liebherr material handlers feed scrap into crushing and processing systems. Ferrous metals are condensed into dense cubes or cut to transport lengths.

Reuse & Remanufacture

Recovered metals are returned to UK and global manufacturing supply chains, where they are used to create new products and infrastructure. What was once scrap becomes a valuable resource again.

Direct Export Capability

Fewer middlemen. Better value from recovered metal.

Panda Rosa is one of the few direct metal exporters in the North East of Scotland. By exporting processed metal directly, we reduce unnecessary handling between yard intake and final recycling markets, helping materials move more efficiently through the supply chain. This not only gives customers a clearer and more controlled route for their recyclable metal, but also helps maximise value by cutting out avoidable intermediaries.

For businesses handling regular loads, larger volumes or project-based material flows, that can make a meaningful difference in both turnaround and overall return.
