Non-Ferrous Metals
Non-ferrous metals do not contain iron and are typically non-magnetic. These metals are widely used in electrical systems, plumbing, engineering and manufacturing and often carry higher recycling value due to their reuse potential.
At Panda Rosa Metals, non-ferrous materials are separated into dedicated bays where they are graded and prepared for export once processed.

Vehicles enter the site via the weighbridge where loads are recorded and assessed before being directed to the correct unloading area.
Sorting & Grading
Once unloaded, materials are manually and mechanically sorted into specific recycling grades. Non-ferrous metals are handled in dedicated bays while ferrous materials are directed towards the processing area.
Processing
Heavy machinery including Liebherr material handlers feed scrap into crushing and processing systems. Ferrous metals are condensed into dense cubes or cut to transport lengths.
Reuse & Remanufacture
Recovered metals are returned to UK and global manufacturing supply chains, where they are used to create new products and infrastructure. What was once scrap becomes a valuable resource again.

Opening an Account
If you are visiting Panda Rosa Metals for the first time, you may need to register an account before we can process materials and issue payment.
Customers must present valid identification when registering. Our weighbridge team will guide you through the process and explain how materials are recorded and valued.
Once your account is set up, future visits can be processed quickly through the weighbridge system.
